D is for DOG..mga kwentong aso sa buhay namin

Ngayon may bago nanaman kaming aso.

My Tatay and Tinoy is Feeding Frenzy2 Addict

Meet my 50 year old dad. After we taught him how to play computer games, he couldn't put the mouse down. He was having fun playing the feeding frenzy. The game where you control the fish to eat its prey to grow bigger. And he couldn't help himself laughing when he was caught surprise when some bigger fish eat him.. My mother scolded him for he seems deaf whenever she call him to do some errand.

And I always caught him playing and I took a picture of him whenever I got the chance. And now my nephew Tinoy, won't leave my father's side for he enjoy watching the fish swimming.

    Stairways to greatness

"Life is a climb but the view is great" is a script from the movie Hannah Montana. So true, isn't it?

Life is both going up and going down. Whatever it takes to reach to the top is worth it. The tiring climb is nothing when you're at the top shouting "It's beautiful up here!". It's exhilarating. More enjoyable when you have company to share the view with.

This photo was in Bohol, Philippines. Reaching the top is the beautiful scenery of the chocolate hills.

    Pray

Someone told me that if it is your first time inside the church, whatever you pray, it will come true. And so I told others the same thing. I’d been to different churches before but honestly, I can’t remember any prayer of mine. Maybe because I pray in general or I wasn’t aware of my answered prayer. We believe in the power of prayer but we should believe to the One who hears it.

    P5.00 worth of fun

    How do you define fun?

With no plans, but suddenly received a text from a friend inviting everyone to their fiesta, then everyone was eager to go. Ate some meal. Say goodbye and thank you to the host then went our way to the plaza. Saw the ride. Bought the very cheap ticket. Then laughter and shout began. Feeling dizzy after but wanted another round.
What's the question again? ahhh... fun?
Fun is being a child once again. We don't care if we are already old for those kind of rides but we enjoy it even for just a few minutes. No worries. Just laugh, laugh, laugh! And P5.00 is worth it.

Life is like a ride. You'll wait for your turn. You sit back and relax. Then you became impatient as to when will it start, when will it get faster and when will it stop. When life makes us dizzy, its not a reason for us to bail out but to sit tight. But no matter how the ride goes..its all about enjoying it.

Photo of the Day: Lens to Lens

As I was scanning the picture I'd taken from the previous day in my camera, I happen to glanced to my extra lens lying in my bed and saw this reflected beautiful light coming from the fluorescent light in my room. And thought of capturing it.

A photographer saw beauty through the lens, captured it and was able to share it with others. But it was our eyes that first saw it. Have you look at the mirror and observe your eyes closely? Don't you find it amazing? How it was beautifully design? Go ahead look at it in the mirror and as you shifted your focus from your eyes to the person in front of you, just like the camera, captured it in your mind and share it to others the beautiful thing you've seen -- YOU.

    Lesson from Laundry

I prefer to wash the dishes than washing the clothes. Not only it gives me back pain but some detergent irritate my skin. If there is something about laundry that i enjoy, it was because of the bubbles.

While I was in college, I was an active member of a youth group. During those time, I can say I am very close to God. There was a time while I was doing some laundry, I have this reflection about it. When you're washing, you're separating the white from colored ones right? Then you're making sure that the clothes are clean and white. Then rinse it for almost three times. It seems like its gonna be the same at the end of the world. That God will separate the good one from bad one. Then only those who are clean and white as snow can enter His kingdom. I'm sharing this not to scare people but to be reminded that God is willing to wash if only we give Him our dirty clothes while there is still time 'cause you'll never know, it wont dry if rain arrives.

    Photo Of the Day: Control

In the eye of a child

We named him after sa sikat na character sa tv program ng ABS-CBN na "May Bukas Pa". Anak ko or should I say ampon ng buong pamilya namin. One year and 4 months old. I don't have a family of my own yet pero dahil sa kanya alam ko na ang pakiramdam ng isang nanay.

So soft to hug and he would even return it with a kiss.
